Time to Shake things Up!!

I present you the first DAD SPOTLIGHT!!!

Here is a pal of mine, Walter Louie from Chico California (not to far from where I live myself- small world we live in huh?). Walter is the proud father of 2 girls, who will be 2 and 4 years old this year. Sadly, he recently separated from his wife of 5 years, but takes care of the girls when he is not working outside the home.

Walter works as a computer systems administrator by day and a GPT/Freebie junkie by night!! I had the pleasure of meeting him online at Mommyjobs (saplouie), but he also hangs out on the A4F forum and at Refferal Swapper, which are two great places to find refferals for the GPT/DIY/Freebie sites.

If you don't know what GPT means- here's a quick rundown: GPT stands for Get Paid To. You get paid to complete offers such as trial runs on new products, trial subscriptions, and other such services, or just to complete a survey. For the most part it's quick money, but not without some headaches.

But back to my Pal Walter- I felt that I wanted to spotlight this amazing guy because of how dedicated he seems to his daughters. I recieved a Christmas card from him and he included a picture of him with his girls, who I might add are beautiful!

Here's something that you may not know about Walter if you chat with him online: "I sufferred a gunshot wound during a robbery 12 years ago that left me a C-7 quadriplegic. So I'm in a wheelchair." And he still has a big heart and enjoys life!! Free time is wheeling in the park. :o) "Chico is the home of one of the America's largest municipal parks, Bidwell Park. I also enjoy fantasy sports and computer strategy games. I just got my MBA last year and I enjoy reading about investment strategies, real estate, and other money matters."

Congrats on getting that MBA Walter!! I just got my Bachelor's degree so I know how hard it must have been to obtain that MBA with family to take care of also!

So now here are those infamous Random Questions that I know you have all been waiting for!!! 1. Do you own a digital camera? Yes a Canon Powershot SD450. Got it from a freebie site!
2. What was the last TV show you watched? Watching Heroes right now (Online at NBC.com)
3. Do you believe that the guy should pay on the first date? Definitiely
4. What time is your alarm clock set for? 6:30 am
5. What was your favorite class in high school? Math
6. How many times have you brushed your teeth today? Twice
7. Did you dream last night? I'm sure I did, but I don't remember it unfortunately.
8. What are your favorite stores? Online: buy.com, newegg, and amazon. Brick and Mortar: Mervyn's, Bestbuy, and Costco.
9. Would you ever sky dive? Nope, Don't wanna injure my neck a 2nd time.
10. Have you ever done something to instigate trouble? No, not much of a trouble maker :)
